The 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) was held from October 9 to 12, 2024, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang. The event, themed "Build Strong Connection with the Best of Indonesia", combined both in-person and online formats, aiming to enhance the global market reach of Indonesian products.
The expo featured over 1,000 exhibitors from sectors such as food, beverages, agriculture, manufacturing, and lifestyle. It attracted 30,000 visitors and 5,000 international buyers. The event also included activities such as business matching, counseling, international seminars, and cultural performances.
President Joko Widodo, who inaugurated the event, emphasized the importance of leveraging this opportunity to boost Indonesia’s exports and enhance the competitiveness of local products amid global economic challenges. The TEI 2024 set a transaction target of USD 15 billion (approximately IDR 233.8 trillion), focusing on driving export growth, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
This expo reflects the government's concrete steps to promote Indonesia’s local potential on a global scale while strengthening business networks for Indonesian entrepreneurs.”
